Recently, Princess Salma of Jordan graduated from the University of Southern California, where she completed a degree in archaeology — but this isn’t the first or the only laurel in her long and extensive lists of merits.

In a heartfelt post, Queen Rania of Jordan congratulated her daughter for unlocking yet another achievement. “So proud to celebrate my Salma’s graduation yesterday from the University of Southern California. I can’t wait to see what you do next. Congratulations!”

As HRH Salma bint Abdullah begins another new chapter, here’s a look at all her past accomplishments that makes her a progressive princess.

Degree in Archeology

As the latest addition to her academic prowess, the third child of Queen Rania and King Abdullah made her parents proud with a degree in archeology from the University of Southern California. Both of her parents and older siter (Princess Iman) along with her husband (Jameel Alexander Thermiotis) were present at the ceremony.

Lieutenant in the Jordanian Air Force

Just when you think she cannot get any cooler, Princess Salma holds the rank of First Lieutenant in the Jordanian Air Force. Her Royal Highness stepped up in place of her father, the King of jordan and particiated in the opening ceremony of the Military Women’s Training Center in Zarqa.

First Female Pilot of Jordan

In 2020, Princess Salma bint Abdullah of Jordan became the first female jet pilot in the Jordanian Armed Forces, after completing her preliminary pilot training on a fixed-winged aircraft.

Attended Royal Military College

At just 18, Princess Salma graduated from the UK’s prestigious Royal Military Academy Sandhurst. Apart from the Jordanian Royals from her own family, Prince William and Prince Harry are also Sandhurst Alumni.
