Sponsored Content: Shopping, pampering, and plenty of places to eat… this Dubai mall offers a real one-stop experience.

With shopping hotspots spread out far and wide across the emirate, sometimes you can feel like you’ve spent a whole Friday in your car just driving between places.

Fitting in a workout, grabbing a coffee with friends, picking up groceries, indulging in a new-season splurge or two and treating yourself to a bite to eat can take you all over the city in a single weekend.

However we’ve found one hidden gem on the Palm Jumeirah that offers you a whole day’s worth of activities under one roof.

The Golden Mile Galleria, which is situated across from Al Ittihad Park, is made up of a whopping 400,000 square feet of retail space, making it the iconic island’s premier shopping and dining destination.

So, how can you best spend a whole day there? We’ve broken it down to make your experience even more effortless…

Start with a workout

Because getting it out of the way first thing is always preferable, right? Golden Mile Galleria is home to a Fitness First Platinum Club, which has a energising timetable jam-packed with all kinds of classes, from kickboxing and Zumba to yoga and circuit training.

The mall’s sculpted archways also sit adjacent to a spongy running track, so you can get your heart rate up outdoors if you’d prefer, or there’s a Yoga La Vie studio if you’d rather reset your zen.

Catch up over a coffee

Whether you fancy a gossip with your gym buddy or want to meet up with an old friend, Golden Mile Galleria has a wealth of cafes in which to chatter over some expertly brewed java. From Starbucks and Caffe Nero to Shakespeare and Co and more, there are more options than you could cover in a single weekend.

Splash out on some style finds

Whether you’re looking to put your best foot forward with Aldo’s newest collection or pick up some swimwear for your next island escape at Beyond the Beach, you’ll find something for every occasion at the mall’s curated selection of stores. And it’s not just fashion either – there’s plenty of nourishing skincare and trend-setting cosmetics to be found at The Face Shop, The Loft Fifth Avenue, Bottega Verde, and more.

Have a leisurely lunch

After working up an appetite with a little shopping, you’ll have earned a slap-up meal. And there’s lots to choose from, whether you’re in the mood for perfectly crispy falafel at Zaroob, a nutrient-rich salad at toss’d, or a tongue-tingling biryani. In fact, you can sample most of the world’s rich cuisines at Golden Mile Galleria, from Thai and Japanese to Italian and Mediterranean. And if you want to round things off with an indulgent treat, stop by London Dairy for a scoop, or Alison Nelson’s Chocolate Bar is sure to satisfy any sweet tooth.

Treat yourself to a pamper

We rarely need an excuse for a beautifying facial or a glossy manicure – and you’ll find both of those and more at the mall’s range of beauty outlets, with on-site salons including Tips and Toes, Dial A Nail and Esthetic Sense. You can also get a smoothing blow-dry at the Blowout Bar if you happen to have a soirée that evening.

Get the weekly shop done with ease

Golden Mile Galleria aims to make the chore of grocery shopping a breeze, with a 12,ooo-square-foot Spinneys supermarket on site (so you can pick up everything you need to stock the pantry before heading home). There’s also an All Day Fresh at the mall, in case you just need to nip in for a few quick items.

The mall is open between 10am and 10pm from Saturdays to Wednesdays, and between 10am and midnight on Thursdays and Fridays.
