The Jordanian royal’s latest style move is particularly swoonworthy.

She’s our all-time sartorial pin-up, especially when it comes to embracing power suiting, silk shirts and elegant outerwear.

However HM Queen Rania al Abdullah’s most recent ensemble is going straight to the top of our Pinterest board.

The Jordanian royal and King Abdullah II have this week been hosting Austrian President Alexander Van der Bellen and First Lady Doris Schmidauer in Amman.

For the welcome party, Queen Rania pulled out a look that has us feeling incredibly spring-like and joyful.

The mother of four turned to Italian designer Sara Battaglia for a sugary pink midi skirt, clad in an on-trend gingham print.

HM teamed the statement piece, which features a buttoned waist and demure ribbon tie, with a balloon-sleeved white shirt from Lebanese label Maison Makarem.

Keen to copy her look? That skirt is available at Net-a-Porter for US800 (Dhs2,938) – and it’s already in our virtual shopping basket, so you’ll have to beat us to it.

Queen Rania’s latest outfit follows on from a recent spate of dusky pink we’ve noticed popping up in her wardrobe (see just one example above).
