Need some cool, contemporary inspiration for your big day? Look no further.
Finding the perfect wedding dress can be a laborious process, especially if you’re averse to lots of froth and glitz.
Searching out something that’s both romantic and cutting-edge can be a bit of a hard task… which is why we’re bookmarking Ashi Studio’s new collection.
The Beirut-born label, helmed by designer Mohammed Ashi, has just dropped its Autumn/Winter 2018 couture line, and it’s giving us some serious bridal inspiration.
Would you just look at that artful fanning? The tuxedo-esque bodice looks like something Tilda Swinton would wear on her big day, all powerful and poised with its slick tailoring.
The collection, named The Girl on the Moon, was first unveiled at Paris Couture Week, and the whole line is imbued with a celestial elegance.
The ice-white colour palette is striking in its simplicity, while lashings of tulle and whispers of lace add an ethereal fragility.
You sure would make a style statement walking down the aisle in one of these:
The standout gown for us, however, is this tiered lace number, with a pleated back reminiscent of an angel’s wings.
Divine, in all senses of the word.
It’s easy to see why the fashion house, which launched in 2007 and also has a ready-to-wear line, is beloved by the A-list as well as brides.
Ashi has dressed stars including songstress Celine Dion, Bollywood icon Aishwarya Rai and singer Janelle Monae.
Here’s hoping we join his client base one day (well, a girl can dream…).
