This Lebanese designer redefined the idea of a fairytale wedding gown…
The daughter of HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, was widely congratulated on her engagement by members of the family on Instagram as the news broke.
Among those sending her well wishes was Sheikha Maryam’s sister, Sheikha Latifa bint Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, who just marked her first wedding anniversary last month.
A logo was also created to celebrate the occasion, intertwining the names of Sheikha Maryam and Suhail bin Ahmed bin Juma Al Maktoum.
It’s not yet known exactly when the wedding will take place, but it’s believed to be in the very near future.
Sheikha Maryam, who is a keen equestrian (much like her father), has not publicly commented on her engagement.
She made headlines earlier this year after photographs and clips showing the royal, along with her sister, HH Sheikha Maitha bint Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, riding horses through the waves of Jumeirah Beach.
However, this wasn’t just your typical weekend canter—the two were part of a group pulling along wakeboarders and surfers from Surf House Dubai.
