Illustrator Dina Fawakhiri has teamed up with S*uce to create these tees emblazoned with a selection of Egyptian icons.
You’ll soon be able to show your love for “the Cinderella of Egyptian cinema” front and centre, thanks to one local collaboration.

The BY sauce X Dina Fawakhiri range features three simple white T-shirts, each printed with a hand-drawn sketch of an Egyptian icon.
The collection “pays tribute to some of the region’s most talented”, S*uce said in a statement, with illustrations depicting actress, singer and game show host Sherihan, Doctor Zhivago star and Golden Globe-winning actor Omar El Sherif, and Esha’et Hob actress Soad Hosny.
The collection will drop online in April, with the tees priced at Dhs250 a piece.
The multi-talented Sherihan rose to fame in the ’80s, while El Sherif (who was fluent in a whopping five languages) was nominated for an Oscar for his role in Lawrence of Arabia.
Hosny, who was dubbed the ‘Cinderella of the Middle East’, rose to stardom in the ’50s and featured in more than 83 films between 1959 and 1991.
It’s not actually S*uce’s first collab with the UAE-born and Jordan-based creative, with Fawakhiri’s first capsule line for the boutique featuring sketches of actress Zeinat Sedki, actor Adel Imam and belly-dancing star Fifi Abdou.
