The Palm Jumeirah is set to welcome the city’s second Raffles in 2021.
We’ve got a few years to wait, but we’re already mentally packing our swimsuits for a staycation.
Dubai is set to welcome its second Raffles hotel, it was announced this week, which will be located on the Palm Jumeirah.
Featuring two colossal towers connected by a 155-metre pool, the hotel will take the title of the Palm’s tallest building when complete.
(It might also be able to claim best view for a swim, thanks to that 170-metre-high piscina).
Named Palm360, the hotel is set to open in 2021, and will be made up of 125 hotel rooms and suites plus 359 branded residences.
We’re particularly intrigued by the 16 penthouses within those residences, which will boast their own private infinity pool, gym and cinema. Maybe we’ll have saved a deposit in four years?
Spanning 260 metres in total height-wise, the Palm360 will also welcome two rooftop restaurants with priceless views of the Arabian Gulf, plus a waterside restaurant, “speciality” all-day restaurant, and a food-serving lobby lounge.
For hotel guests and tenants alike, there’ll be gym and spa facilities, private beach access, kids’ club and a beach club.
It might be a few years off from opening, but we’re already putting a long weekend stay in our diaries…
