There’s plenty to love about turning left or up the stairs when you step on a plane.

In Business and First Class you get fine-dining menus, drinks on tap, speedy service and the all-important horizontal beds.

But Emirates has just given us one more reason to angle after an upgrade.

The Dubai-based airline has just unveiled a few new products it is adding to its luxury seats, and one in particular has caught our attention.

Shout you book a First Class ticket now, you’ll get to recline in the world’s first moisturising lounge wear designed for an airline.

Yes, you read that right – moisturising lounge wear.

It all sounds rather scientific – Hydra Active Microcapsule Technology, anyone? – but basically the pyjamas are lined with billions of capsules which release skin-softening sea kelp when worn.

The lounge wear, which will be available on long-haul overnight journeys, should prove a welcome salve to the drying cabin air of your average flight.

The hydrating tech is fairly durable too, so you can get about 10 washes out of the PJs before they stop releasing the nutrient-rich kelp (yes, you can take them home after your flight too).

Do you get anything else in First Class? But of course – matching slippers, an eye mask, a faux sheep-skin blanket, and a bag of VOYA and Bulgari toiletries (the latter of which you can use in the A380’s onboard shower).

Business Class travellers get a pretty good deal too, with the amenity upgrade introducing new soft duvets and the same toiletries – but no shower, sadly.

Stuck in Economy? Yeah, us too… but you can buy the aforementioned PJs at the Emirates online store so you can get a taste of the luxe life while your row-mate snores on your shoulder.

We’re just off to Google “how to score a free upgrade” for the millionth time…
