While there are plenty of supermarkets that sell vegan ingredients, it can be tough to find good vegan food in Dubai’s cafés and restaurants, especially when it comes to breakfast.
So, in a land seemingly teeming with places to eat, we’ve compiled a list of the top 5 places in Dubai for a vegan breakfast. So that’s meat-, egg- and dairy-free.

Where? Be Supernatural, The Dubai Mall
Why bother? Everything on the menu in this restaurant is 100 per cent raw and vegan. While they don’t have a strictly breakfast section in their menu, Be Supernatural’s offerings consist of a number of super-healthy juices to grab on the way to work, as well as a list of meals completely free from meat, dairy, sugar, gluten and chemicals. A great pit-stop for a healthy snack or a quick meal while you get your shopping done.
What to try? EVERTHING! But if we had to pick, the Cacao Pro-Biotic Nut Mylk and Zucchini Pasta, Heirloom Tomato Sauce (so good even at breakfast).

Where? Tidjoori, Jumeirah Beach Residence
Why bother? If you’re not feeling breakfast, don’t worry, the whole menu is vegan. So grab whatever you want. They’ve got a breakfast menu with something for everyone. Whether it’s pancakes, a tofu omelette or baked beans and hash browns, Tidjoori have you covered.
What to try? Tidjoori’s veganised English breakfast.

Where? Comptoir 102, Jumeirah Beach Road
Why bother? It’s a super-cosy spot, and has been hailed as one of the best-designed cafes in Dubai. Besides selling great organic and healthy food, Comptoir 102 sells home decor and clothes, as well. They’ve got a huge juice and smoothie menu, with some great breakfast options.
What to try? Buckwheat and millet raw chocolate porridge, with almond milk, maple syrup and blueberries.

Where? The Farm Dubai, Al Barari
Why bother? An oasis in the desert, the restaurant is surrounded by a wealth of greenery. All the ingredients are fresh, and whilst not being a strictly veggie or vegan restaurant, The Farm’s menu has plenty of vegetarian and vegan choices. You’re also given the option to customize each dish to tailor it exactly to how you like it.
What to try? The gluten free coconut waffles.

Where? 77 Veggie Boutique, JLT
Why bother? An all-veggie restaurant with plenty of vegan options. None of the dishes on the menu contain more than 500 calories and none of the dishes contain any chemicals or preservatives, with nothing coming from cans. There’s also a lack of carbonated drinks, sugar or frozen food.
What to try? The spinach jacket breakfast wrap.
