If your culinary routine consists of logging onto Deliveroo to order a feast then you will be delighted to hear that UberEATS has launched in Dubai.

UberEATS, which “provides you the food you want, when you want it,” launches today at lunch time and already has 200 restaurants, including Gustronomy, Taqado, BurgerFuel, The Hummingbird Bakery and Sushi Art, listed on the app.

While that’s a fair bit short of the 5,500 restaurants that deliver in the region, it’s only a matter of time before the list gets bigger.

UberEats will deliver seven days a week from 11am-11pm with weekend times extending to 5am. With an aim to be as efficient as its Uber taxi services, the target delivery time is 30 minutes.

UberEATS is already a huge success across the globe having already successfully launched in Paris, Hong Kong, Mexico and the US, and there’s no doubt it will be a major hit in Dubai – the city of convenience.

As if the launch wasn’t exciting enough, diners will receive Dhs50 off their first order, using the code DubaiEats. Well, that’s our lunch sorted.
