The Emirati child prodigy taking the world by storm

The UAE’s youngest-ever author,12-year-old Dana Al Balooshi is set to publish a new book. The nonfiction book is tentatively called 13 Amazing Women of Arabia, and will focus on women who have achieved great things in their respective fields, spanning government, law, art, business and fashion.

Dana rose to fame in the UAE four years ago aged nine, when she trained with NASA in the US. She was the youngest Emirati to train with NASA, and holds numerous certificates from the US space agency.

Earlier this year the child prodigy and her brother Adeeb became the first Emirati students to be enrolled at the Charter College of Education at the California State University in Los Angeles. The intelligent duo were also the youngest students in history to discuss scientific research on full-scale projects at the National Graphene Institute at the University of Manchester.

The book will be published by Motivate Media Group in partnership with GEMS Education. Ian Fairservice, Managing Partner and Group Editor-in-Chief of Motivate Media Group, said: “We have been following Dana’s remarkable achievements over the last few years and we are delighted to be her publisher.
