Elisa Sednaoui

This custom-made teal frock from up-and-coming Jeddah-born designer Arwa Al Banawi took three months to make. We love that Sednaoui accessorised with a clutch bearing the word ‘Cairo’ from her sister-in-law’s brand Charlotte Olympia.

Diamand Abou Abboud

The Lebanese actress, who rose to fame with Oscar-nominated The Insult, paid homage to her roots with this Sandy Nour pastel pink-and-gold floor-length frock.

Saba Mubarak

The  award-winning actress flew the flag for the UAE with her Dubai-based floor-length white Michael Cinco gown. Remember that time he made a 20-foot cape?

Nesreen Tafesh

The Dubai-based Syrian actress looked incredible in her multi-coloured sequin full-skirted gown by Lebanese couterier Sadek Majed.

Nelly Karim

The Egyptian actress paid homage to her roots with local label Kojak Studio.

Nadia El-Gendy

Hany El-Behairy was the designer of choice for the iconic Egyptian actress. Fun fact: Hany was also the designer behind Egypt’s most expensive wedding dress.

Shereen Reda

UAE designer Taller Marmo was also represented at the festival. The Blue Elephant star opted for a black feathered frock from the Middle Eastern label.

Swoon!
