Who else loved the show Whose Line Is It Anyway? Well, you’ll be happy to hear Rove Hotels is hosting Dubai’s first ever improv theatre night, which kicks off tonight and will be held on the third Thursday of every month. Featuring top actors from the Courtyard Playhouse Company, as the name would suggest, each performance is totally unscripted and unrehearsed  – so prepare for some belly laughs.

Take a yoga class in a unique setting

Pop into this new JBR bakery

You may have noticed some delicious smells wafting from The Beach at JBR. That’s because the brand new Bouchon Bakery has just opened there. The sweet spot is the brainchild of celebrity chef Thomas Keller, who has seven Michelin stars under his belt, and this will be his first Bouchon Bakery outside of the US. You’ll find all your favourite baked treats, as well as an all-day menu of French-style pastries, sandwiches, salads and soups.

We’ve found the perfect guilt-free option for you. Parisian cafe Aubaine has introduced a selection of healthy matcha options to its menu. There’s yummy-looking matcha-infused pancakes topped with bananas and berries, as well as detoxifying cups of matcha green tea and matcha lattes. Made from Japanese green tea leaves packed with antioxidants and vitamins, what better way to start the day?
