Stunning beach clubs, post-brunch deals and an unmissable exhibition…

Rejoice: the weekend is almost upon us. Whether it’s an Ibiza-style beach party, rooftop yoga or a 25-course Japanese brunch tour, here’s six great things to do this weekend in Dubai.

Thursday September 20

The Burj Khalifa rooftop pool party

See in the weekend by unwinding at Burj Khalifa’s rooftop pool party. Feast on poolside salads and burgers as your soak up the spectacular views of Downtown Dubai and the Burj Khalifa (‘gram gold FYI). The only hard choice? Picking between a unicorn or a flamingo float…

Head to this unmissable exhibition

Pencil in this exhibition at our fave hipster hang-out Alserkal Avenue. Damascus-born artist Elias Izoli’s latest work focuses on the lost childhoods of Syrian children as the seven-year civil war continues. Spanning haunting yet poignant pastel-coloured portraits, this deserves a space on your to-do-list.

Until Wednesday 31 October. Ayyam Gallery, Alserkal Avenue, Dubai, UAE. Tel: (04) 323 6242 www.ayyamgallery.com

Friday September 21

Bali-inspired beach hang-out

Wave goodbye to that post-brunch “what now?” feeling and head to this Bali-inspired beach hang-out. Stick around for sunset when the Azure Beach transforms into an Ibiza-inspired pool party, complete with music from a live DJs and pool floats. Make some time to head to their in-house restaurant – if only for the signature sushi platter. Still got some energy leftover? Visit the following day for their VOGUE Midnight Pool Party – the party doesn’t end till 1am.
