Save some space for the mouthwatering pannacotta, cannoli siciliani and the ever famous Tiramisu.

The lowdown: Sit under beach umbrellas, dipping your toes in the sand or if that’s not your cup of tea move to the air conditioned indoor seating. Feast on Mediterranean starters served to your table followed by a main course of your choice and desserts.
Extra: For an additional Dhs100 per person get access to the pool and beach for the day.

The lowdown: The stunning views of the Burj Khalifa is just one of the pluses. If you love spices then this brunch is for you, specialising in different kinds of chaats (Indian street foods), mixed grills and curries. And if you want to sample more from the menu, just go ahead and order. It’s included in the brunch meal, too.

Where: Yalumba, Le Meridien Dubai Hotel and Conference Centre
Lowdown: With banners, fancy hats, balloons and children’s colouring books the party scene is set, and as you make way to your table the festive atmosphere has well and truly got hold of you. As you treat your palate to a wide spread of food including traditional English roast dinners, curries, pasta dishes and ice creams.
