Whether you’re looking to start a career, advance to the next level or after a new challenge altogether, getting your foot through the door or even on the first rung of the ladder can be difficult especially as it’s often about who you know.
However, the launch of three apps is set to make connecting with key industry people, and potential employees, as simple as swiping left or right. It’s time to get downloading and ready to get a career high.
The App: BumbleBIZZ
What started as a dating app Bumble has developed into a savvy careers app where you can make key contacts – no dates included or expected.
BumbleBIZZ’s USP is that it allows you to network with people who you might not have any connection to at all. In fact, it’s so simple you just swipe left and right on potential connections.
“For most, building a network takes years,’ the company explained, “but with BumbleBIZZ, we will instantly connect users to a vast community of professionals around the world.”
Dubbing itself a “female-empowerment brand,” the idea of the app is to help women take the lead in their careers.
*BumbleBIZZ is set for release in early Autumn.
The App: Dubizzle
That’s right, the website that allows to rent property, buy goods and sell stuff can also help you with your career. While the jobs section has always existed, it has been revamped through its new applicants dashboard.
The tool tracks job applications by listing the jobs applied for, displaying the total number of applicants for each position, and showing the status of their CV. It shows shows whether the potential employer has seen your post.
A new ‘highlight your application’ feature allows applicants to promote their skills, offering recruiters an additional screening filter to further streamline the recruitment process.
Constantly working to enhance the user experience across all sections of the platform, Dubizzle recently launched the Video CV feature, allowing recruiters to view a snapshot of an applicant’s basic knowledge and demeanour from the moment they apply.

Not only is it easy on the eye but it is also very easy to navigate, quickly search LinkedIn’s curated jobs based on title, location, or keywords.
It allows you to see who you know at jobs you’re interested in, making it easier for you to reach out and make a connection when applying for a role.
Applying for a role is easy too as you are just one click away from applying for that dream role.
So, which app is best? We say why settle for one – get on all three and boost your chances of nailing that dream role.
