Unless you’ve been living under a rock, you’ll have heard about The House Party Bar, which has just opened in the Fairmont Dubai.
Designed to look like an actual house from the 90s, the venue embraces the simple joys of a time before cellphones existed, and when Justin and Britney were still a thing. Retro, right?
If that wasn’t epic enough already, the bar is set to launch its ladies’ night this week – and it takes inspiration from our all-time favourite 90s film, Clueless. We’re not gonna lie, we’ve spent the past two decades coveting Cher’s digital closet.

The Clueless ladies’ night will take place every Wednesday from 6pm to 2am, and the bar will be strictly girls-only between 6pm and 8pm. That’s right, no Barneys (or even Baldwins) allowed.
Ladies can enjoy three free house drinks, and then all drinks for the rest of the night are Dhs30. There’s also 50 per cent off food, including the Dip Me Baby One More Time mozzarella sticks, and I Don’t Wanna Miss a Wing chicken wings.
DJ Natalie Brogan will be on the decks spinning Britney, NSYNC and Backstreet Boys for those who want to hit the dancefloor, or you can challenge your girls to games of “pink pong”, Pac-Man and Mario Kart.
We’ll be there, with our knee-high socks and most directional Dionne hat on.
