This new floating platform means you can get closer than ever before.

Whether it’s Whitney, Celine or something more operatic, nothing sends tingles down our spine quite like the Dubai Fountains.

The attraction is the No 1 thing to visit in the city, according to Trip Advisor, and you only have to see one of the water shows to know why.

(Twenty-two thousand gallons of water in the air at any given moment? It boggles the mind).

And now there’s a new way to experience the aqua spectacular—one that might help you beat the crowds for a prime viewing spot.

A floating platform has been set up right on the water, and allows viewers to get just nine metres shy of the fountains.

You can reach the 272-metre-long Dubai Fountain Boardwalk from the Burj Park side of the water attraction—and the best news? Tickets are only Dhs20 (which are a bargain for such an up-close view, we reckon).

The boardwalk is open between 5pm and 11pm every day, with tickets available at the Fountain promenade, Burj Park and At the Top, Burj Khalifa ticket counters.

You can also pre-book tickets online at burjkhalifa.ae, with the experience open to everyone aged 4 years and over.
