Bow down.
Who do you turn to when you’re about to be on the cover of Time, named as one of the most influential people in the world?
Well, if you’re multi-hyphenate Jennifer Lopez, it’s got to be Zuhair Murad.
The singer, actress, designer and beauty entrepreneur was named alongside Nicole Kidman and comedian Tiffany Haddish as one of the year’s major players by Time magazine.

Have you seen Sonam Kapoor’s latest Middle East designed looks?
Lopez leads the magazine’s Icons category in its Time 100 feature, and covers its May issue.
Here’s a full look at that cover:
Inside, actress Kerry Washington writes about Lopez’s influence and achievements, revealing that they grew up in the same Bronx neighbourhood in New York.
“When Jennifer left the Bronx to pursue her dreams, I would rush to finish my homework on Sunday to watch her on In Living Colour,” Washington writes.
“She made me believe that you could come from where we came from and achieve whatever you imagine is possible.”
“I never let anyone pigeon-hole me or put me in a box,” Lopez says in a video that accompanies the piece.
“And every step of the way people try to do that to you — especially when you’re a woman.”
Extremely well said, if you ask us.
It hasn’t been a bad week for Murad. The label has also dressed American actress and dancer Jenna Dewan…
And Lebanese-Tunisian actress Nadine Nassib Njeim.
Both stars looked incredible in Murad’s signature embellished, perfectly cut styles.
