The Dubai-based designer looks back through the archives to unearth his most beloved piece.
He’s dressed Bollywood legends, Hollywood stars, Grammy winners and royal brides.
It’s fair to say Michael Cinco is quite the in-demand designer, whether it’s for his romantic wedding gowns or slinky eveningwear.

The Dubai-based designer has made headlines in recent years for his scene-stealing creations—who can forget about the Cinderella-worthy number sported by Aishwarya Rai at this year’s Cannes Film Festival?
However it’s not his latest celebrity gowns that Cinco, who is originally from the Philippines, cites as his favourite-ever design.
In fact, the couture designer has just revealed his most beloved creation harks back from his earlier days.
This fiery strapless number was designed for Cinco’s 2003 Impalpable Dream of Arabia collection, and was inspired by the region’s sunsets.
“It became my all-time favorite creation,” the designer told his 900,000 Instagram followers. “Do you think I need to make another collection similar to this?”
(We vote yes).
Cinco, who set up his eponymous label back in 2003, studied at London’s prestigious Central Saint Martin’s College of Arts and Design.
The couture designer is also a go-to for celebrities for red-carpet events, and has dressed Mariah Carey, Jennifer Lopez, and 2016 Miss Universe winner Pia Wurtzbach, to name a few.
Cinco is a long-time favourite of brides-to-be, and has created gowns for everyone from social media stars to real-life princesses.
Here’s a peek at one he dreamed up for an Abu Dhabi bride just days ago:
This year alone, he’s dressed crystal heiress Victoria Swarovski for her big day, as well as several royals and even his own niece.
