It looks delicious and it’s for a fantastic cause…
Meghan Markle has announced her first royal solo project.
The newlywed is supporting a new charity cookbook featuring recipes from women whose community was affected by the Grenfell Tower disaster in the UK.
In June 2017, a 24-storey block in North Kensington, London claimed the lives of 72 residents.
The cookbook, called Together, celebrates the power of cooking to bring communities together. It features 50 recipes from Europe, the Middle East, North Africa and the Eastern Mediterranean. All proceeds from the book will go towards the community affected by the disaster.

Meghan Markle has made her first appearance as the Duchess of Sussex
It’s written by the volunteers at the Hubb Community Kitchen, and features a foreword from the Duchess of Sussex.
In January 2018, Meghan met a group of women who gathered to cook twice a week in the kitchen at the Al Manaar Muslim Cultural Heritage Centre.
The kitchen initially provided a place for the women to cook fresh food for their families and neighbours, who were living in hotels after the fire.
Bollywood actress Priyanka Chopra lent her support to her BFF on Instagram.
“So proud of you for this new endeavor Meghan. This is everything you always stood for. Women supporting women. Supporting communities. Bringing togetherness. Here you do it again… keep making the world smile babe!”
Serena Williams also praised her pal on the social media site. “I could not be more excited about it and proud of you,” she typed. “It’s beautiful – diversity, inclusivity, coming together in grief or joy – there is just so much love. Link in bio to learn more, and how you can get a copy!”
The book is set to go on sale from September 20 2018.
