Congratulations are in order for Bollywood star Anushka Sharma and international cricketer Virat Kohli, who confirmed on Monday night that they’re now married.
The pair, who Gulf News reports met on the set of a shampoo ad in 2013, released a joint statement on both their Twitter accounts thanking fans for their support.

“Today we have promised each other to be bound in love for ever. We are truly blessed to share the news with you,” they wrote. “This beautiful day will be made more special with the love and support of our family of fans and well wishers. Thank you for being such an important part of our journey.”
While they posted the same message, Sharma and Kohli posted different images with the announcement. Considering how much we love wedding photos, this is excellent news. Here’s Kohli’s post:

Sharma, who visited Dubai in August with costar Shah Rukh Khan, looked gorgeous in pale pink and gold for the Italian ceremony. India Today reports that her look was by Sabyasachi. The actress is best known for roles in Nh10, which she also produced, and Ae Dil Hai Mushkil.
Her new husband is one of India’s top sportspeople, and currently captains the country’s cricket team.
