The aptly named Warner Bros. World, which is located on Yas Island, doesn’t have a specified open date yet, but developers have revealed it’ll house 29 adrenaline-rushing rides and attractions.
The 1.65 million-square-foot indoor theme park—which is the first of its kind in the Warner Bros. world—will be spread over six different zones; Metropolis, Gotham City, Cartoon Junction, Bedrock, Dynamite Gulch, and Warner Bros. Plaza.
The Gotham City segment will be, unsurprisingly, home to Batman-themed entertainment, including four rides, an arcade-inspired games zone and restaurants.
There’ll be a batwing-shaped flight simulator, a Riddler-inspired rollercoaster, a walk-through funhouse and a Scarecrow Scare Raid (which sounds terrifying from the name alone).
Other characters that will feature around the theme park are Tom and Jerry, Scooby Doo, Superman and Wonder Woman, the latter of which you’ll be able to find in the Metropolis zone.
Cartoon Junction will be a more family-friendly arena, with a ghost train and a carousel, while details around the remaining three zones will be unveiled in the build-up to the park’s opening date.
