We live in a city that loves fashion and real estate, and the collaborations between the two just keep coming.

First there was the Armani Hotel Dubai (where else can you get a gold-leaf coffee?) then came the Palazzo Versace. Soon to open are the Bulgari Resort and Residences as well as the Address Fashion Avenue.

We’re already pretty spoiled for choice when it comes to stylish places to lay our heads.

But if that doesn’t sound like enough choice, don’t be concerned. New villas with interiors by Italian designer Roberto Cavalli are coming to the city, and they start at Dhs1.3 million. You can get in line to buy one from September 6.

Located within the Akoya Oxygen golf community in Dubailand and developed by Damac Properties, the homes are set to have the Cavalli aesthetic you’d expect – think lots of animal print and bright colours. The look is very extravagant and opulent, to say the least.

It’s the fashion house’s first venture into real estate, though like we said above, there’s a good precedent here in the UAE.

Roberto Cavalli Group CEO Gian Giacomo Ferraris said it was the ideal market for the brand.

“We are excited about extending the Just Cavalli brand into real estate and what better place to do this than in Dubai, where a large audience of customers seek branded properties that are distinctive,” he told the Khaleej Times.

“Just Cavalli is one of our premium lines targeted at young fashion enthusiasts who seek luxury with a twist in a fun and bold style.”

The villas range from three to six bedrooms, and some include rooftop terraces and sub-ground floors. Community residences will have access to a Just Cavalli gym, which sounds a fair bit more deluxe than the one in our building. Zebra print towels in the showers, maybe?

If the Cavalli look isn’t for you, we’ve also spotted these Fendi villas on the Damac site. It doesn’t look like these fashion developments are going to slow up any time soon.
