Our amateur sightseeing selfies really pale in comparison.

Trust us, we’ve tried to capture the perfect Dubai shot many a time.

But either the Burj Khalifa’s completely out of focus, the sun’s made us squint, or there’s a wind that’s whipped our hair completely over our face.

Nataly and Murad Osmann, however, rarely seem to have that problem.

The couple behind Instagram’s iconic #FollowMeTo hashtag have spent some time in the UAE this month, and have completely put all our selfies to shame (well, they are pros).

The Russian couple, who boast more than 5.5. million Instagram followers between them, rose to fame with their travel series on the social media platform, comprising of a compilation of photos which show Nataly leading her husband by the hand through some of the world’s most amazing destinations.

Case in point? The pair checked out the just-opened Louvre Abu Dhabi during their stay, capturing the art gallery’s huge silvery dome made up of 7,850 metal stars.

Murad described the museum as a place where “East meets West”, adding it “feels like you are on a different planet”.

The Moscow-based duo, who jetted in for the opening of Dubai’s Renaissance Downtown Hotel, also ventured into the capital’s “magical” desert, where they were treated to a magnificent sunset.

They also snapped one of their signature portraits in the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque, calling the place of worship “definitely [the] eighth wonder of the world”.

This isn’t the first time the seasoned travellers have visited the Emirates, having made a pit-stop in Dubai earlier this year.

The two held a now-iconic photo shoot on the 90th floor of the Burj Khalifa, where they snapped this beauty:

#followmeto Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The East is always associated with history and traditions, but on this photo, we wanted to demonstrate the modern East as it is: cosmopolitan, futuristic and very beautiful! I believe it’s important to look at things from different perspectives. It is also one of my favorite photos because to make it, we overcame our fear of heights and went up to the 90th floor, and that feeling beats anything!

The daredevil pair ventured out on to a ledge to capture the above snap, and the behind-the-scenes version is just as mesmerising.

(Talk about a trusting couple).

The Osmanns first started their series back in 2011, and have since released a book with images from their travels, though Murad admits the whole thing started as an accident during a visit to Barcelona.

“Nataly was a bit annoyed that I was always taking pictures of everything, so she grabbed my hand and tried to pull me forward,” he told the Daily Mail.

Only love is above us 😉 This is Dubai, United Arab Emirates, January 2017. We climbed to the top of the 90-storeyed skyscraper to make our #followmeto photo with the view on Burj Khalifa. @muradosmann was sure that at some point I’d have cold feet and wouldn’t want to do it, but I just held tighter to his arm, and we reached the top just like that, together. The feeling that you’re floating above the city when you feel dizzy and don’t feel your legs, and the wind that surrounds you like a cocoon and doesn’t let you say a word… This was the moment of the wildest delight, fascination and fear that our friend @19tones captured.

“That said it didn’t stop me from doing photos while she was pulling me. So that’s how it all started.”

This couple first visited the UAE in 2015, where they took in the Burj Khalifa as well as the Burj Al Arab captured through the fronds of the Madinat Jumeirah.

#followmeto Dubai with @natalyosmann. What is your favorite place in Dubai?
