The fashion retailer sources the most desirable luxury products from around the world, and curates bespoke “lists” tailored to the specific needs of its customers, creating a personal shopping experience.

This new service payment service in partnership with BitBay Pay, will make The List, the first fashion mobile platform globally to accept payments in bitcoin. The key reasons why the app is introducing this service, is because it is easy, fast and secure. It will also allow for direct peer-to-peer exchanges, and lower transaction costs.
The Dubai-based fashion retailer is aiming to tap into an unexplored market, as the number of bitcoin users is expected to experience a massive growth. The company believes that cryptocurrency is the future of online shopping, as the number of users is expected to reach more than 200 million by 2024.
Founder and CEO of The List, Andreas Skorski, spoke about the new service, saying, “In the Middle East consumers’ approach to banking and payments has already changed radically. Due to the growth of e-commerce and the high mobile penetration in the region cash-on-delivery payments have steadily declined over the last years, while digital payment solutions are experiencing significant growth. We see cryptocurrency as an enduringly relevant currency, not just a trend.”
