When you’re the world’s only seven-star hotel the pressure is on, especially over the festive period when dazzling guests and making an impression are vital. However, safely retaining it’s luxurious reputation and pulling out all the stops, Burj Al Arab has transformed into a decadent winter wonderland.

Showcasing their festive delights, the Burj Al Arab put on an exclusive and spectacular event in its 25th floor suite. Emirates Woman got a sneak peak at what can enjoyed during the holiday period.

From the tallest Nutcracker in the Middle East (4m 57cm) to the numerous Christmas trees – ranging in décor from gold and red to white with owls – and a sumptuous traditional turkey dinner (starts from Dhs650 including all the trimmings), the hotel revealed why it’s one of the most popular destinations during December and the New Year.

Amongst the many seasonal treats, guests and visitors can indulge in a bespoke gold chocolate log (Dhs500), and a Diamonds Are Forever cocktail served in a Swarovski crystalline cocktail glass and priced at Dhs4,950. The drink is available at SkyView Bar.

So while Dubai might not be able to offer you a white Christmas it can certainly give you an extravagant one
