The Downtown retail hub has officially opened its much-lauded Fashion Avenue expansion, which will play home to more than 150 luxury brands.
Among the labels setting up shop are Gucci, Hermès, Dolce & Gabbana, Cartier and Dior, while plenty of food and beverage outlets will be on hand so you can rest your weary, shopped-out feet.
The multi-storey extension has added one million square feet of built-up area to the mall, Gulf News reports, with the high-end location also featuring art installations.
“With inspired architecture and a sophisticated collection of art pieces from around the world, Fashion Avenue offers a distinct, five-star experience unmatched in the region,” Emaar said in a statement.
Not all of the boutiques in the extension, which features a light-filled glass roof, are yet open, but shoppers can walk through the space.
You’ll find the Fashion Avenue extension right by the atrium of its predecessor, opposite Armani Café on the ground floor.
