Her latest role might be that of a newlywed, but Indian actress Sonam Kapoor definitely hasn’t quit her unofficial position as our style icon.
The Veere Di Wedding star has been in Cannes as part of her L’Oreal contract, and it’s safe to say her outfits have been up to the usual high standard.

What’s especially nice this time around is that we’re seeing Kapoor in a real variety of modes. From jeans and a white shirt to fully ball gowns, it’s all there.

Here’s that jeans and white shirt combo. The (extremely cool) shoes are Sergio Rossi, the jeans are from Bhane, and the shirt is Simone Rocha.
Kapoor and her stylist sister, Rhea, are doing such strong work.
Then, in the middle ground between evening wear and super casual, we have this charming dress from New Zealand designer Emilia Wickstead.
We’re loving the long sleeves and full skirt, and those Bottega Veneta sunglasses. It’s a top-to-toe winner.
For a strong finish, you couldn’t go much better than this Vera Wang ball gown. With the setting and Kapoor’s mehendi still in place from her wedding to Anand Ahuja, these photos look like they could be movie stills.
The jewels are Chopard, of course.
