Dropping later this month!
Sofia Riche, the youngest daughter of singer-songwriter Lionel Richie, has collaborated with Kuwaiti luxury accessories brand Marzook. The exclusive capsule collection is set to drop later this month, with a pop-up launch on March 19 in Kuwait, which will be attended by Sofia.
The brand was established in 2014, by brother and sister duo, Shouq and Fahad Al Marzouq, who started off in the industry by designing pieces for their family and closest friends. Shouq is the CEO of the company, while her brother serves as the Creative director for the label. Their collaboration with the American model will feature three versions of their signature Lucid Orb hand-bags in neon pink, green and yellow.
It seems like neon shades are the trend of the season, but there is another reason behind the Lucid Orb’s vibrant transformation, which is Generation-Z. On their website, they described the collaboration saying, “This special collaboration features MARZOOK’s best seller seasonless bag the Lucid Classic in the new neon shades Powerful Pink, Neon- Z Green, and Traffic Cone Orange. Generation-Z is growing up; or, in other words, “Glowing up” and we have instinctively allowed their vitality and ambition, traits we’re seeing in this upcoming generation of tastemakers, into the design.”

The 20-year-old socialite, was spotted wearing the Traffic Cone Orange bag from the collection back in September 2018, during New York Fashion Week. Sofia, Shouq and Fahad were introduced to each-other through mutual friends. The idea to work together was born due to the fact that the fashionable siblings felt like Sofia’s style is an embodiment of the Marzook girl, someone who creates trends, rather than follow them.
