The 2,000 Guineas Stakes kicks off the spring racing season.

Crown Prince of Dubai HH Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, HRH Princess Haya bint Hussein, and Sheikha Al Jalila all spent the day trackside with HH Sheikh Mohammed for the 2,000 Guineas Stakes race.
How’s that for a family day out? Considering how much this group loves horse-racing, we’d call it a win.
Speaking of, riders from the UAE dominated the field, the Dubai Media Office says.
Oasis Charm from HH Sheikh Mohammed’s own Godolphin stables won the opening race on the day, with Godolphin’s Masar coming third in the 2,000 Guineas Stakes main event.
That’s not all they’ve been up to in the UK, though. As HH Sheikh Mohammed’s Instagram shows, young Sheikh Zayed is also travelling with the family, and together they’ve been doing a spot of sightseeing.
Nothing like some new experiences to facilitate a bit of family bonding.
Back in March, Dubai’s royal family were a major presence at the Dubai World Cup, with Sheikha Al Jalila and little Sheikh Zayed well and truly stealing the show.
Now we’re just wondering where they’ll head to next…
