It’s all about team spirit.

He organised Dubai’s first Government Games, and now HH Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum has led his team to take the win.

The Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of the Executive Council competed with a team from F3 stables at Kite Beach in Umm Suqeim over the weekend, and they came out on top.

With the aim of encouraging team work and team spirit in government agencies, the games brought together 1,100 employees from 10 countries. Teams raced through 10 challenging obstacles for their share of Dhs2 million in prizes.

Late last week, HH Sheikh Hamdan visited the course to encourage the women’s teams, and then over the weekend, he competed himself.

Here’s a look at the Crown Prince in action with his F3 team:

More than a little bit impressive, no? And we think we’re amazing when we go to yoga three times in a week.

While F3 took out the men’s competition, the women’s top spot went to the US Consulate in Dubai.

Before yesterday’s finals, HH Sheikh Hamdan wished all competitors good luck and expressed “a big thank you and well done to all the teams that participated” on Instagram.

We’re hoping all those who took part are taking it easy today. That course was no joke.

Well done to all the competitors. You’re made of strong stuff.
