This isn’t the first time an Italian designer has opened his own hotel in Dubai.

In 2010, Georgio Armani opened the world’s first Armani Hotel in the Burj Khalifa. With 160 rooms and 144 private private residences, the Armani Hotel is home to this epic pool party as well as hosting Rihanna’s first make-up masterclass this weekend.

“I’m thrilled to open the doors,” he said at the time to Gulf News.

Palazzo Versace opened its doors in Dubai in 2016, with  Donatella jetting in mark the landmark hotel. Just recently, rumoured couple Nicki Minaj and Lewis Hamilton stayed here, with Nicki donning a three-piece Versace ensemble.
