Tisci’s takeover
The fashion world is eagerly anticipating Riccardo Tisci’s first Burberry show, and ahead of the launch, the fashion house has made three surprise announcements.

The first surprise came on Thursday via Instagram, when Riccardo announced that a piece from his collection would be available exclusively for 24-hours. The black Thomas Burberry Monogram logo tshirt was available for 24 hours via Instagram and WeChat only. The designer made the announcement by posting a picture of himself wearing the limited run tshirt.

Since then, it has been announced that a second limited edition capsule will be available on the day of Riccardo’s runway debut, September 17. The release will include select designs from both his men and women’s collections. Again, the collection will only be available via Instagram, WeChat and at Burberry’s flagship store 121 Regent Street in London, UK. The third piece of fashion news from Burberry, is that their flagship London store has been revamped ahead of the new launch.
The Regent Street property used to be a theatre, and the new interiors have been inspired by its historic past. Each room has been draped thick curtains, and theatre-inspired fittings.
Elsewhere, individual rooms have been curated around iconic Burberry products, including the heritage trench coat.
