An ultra-stylish rooftop bar located on the 27th floor of the Oberoi hotel, the Friday brunch at Iris Dubai has a chilled and playful party vibe with a cool crowd and even cooler music. With its Mediterranean vibe it’s our new Friday escape from Dubai’s concrete jungle.
Décor
The sun soaked wooden terrace has a funky décor of modern lounge style seating and stunning views of the city through its sleek modern glass walls.
Ambience
It has a unique level of coolness that cannot be found anywhere else in Dubai and its warm and welcoming attitude throws us back to our long summers in the Balearics. It’s nice to see staff (that have more than a hint of style) having just as much fun as the guests and their passion and knowledge for this place really shows. The DJ kicks brunch off with cool deep house beats and later transcends into more upbeat tracks that could send the dance floors of Ibiza into musical meltdown.
Food
The food and drink here is seriously Instagram-worthy stuff, with their impressive list of creative Artisan cocktails and an insanely good sushi bar, there’s nothing not to love about this brunch. The live BBQ station has everything from tender steak to delectable chicken skewers and divine mini burgers while the tempting dessert station is so pretty it almost looks too good to eat. The Iris Dubai provides the best food and drink we’ve had at a brunch in Dubai to date.
