Happy Birthday to Queen Rania!
Friday 31st August marks the birthday of one of our favourite Royals. To celebrate, we’ve put together a list of some of our most-loved fashion moments from Queen Rania.
If we had to trade wardrobes with any Royal, then Queen Rania would take some beating. When she’s not championing women’s rights the world over or fighting for education reform, we can wager she’s putting a fashion-savvy step forward.
While she’s been spotted in Dior and Fendi, she still makes time to put the Middle East on the fashion map by wearing some of the best designers in the region.
To celebrate Queen Rania’s 48th birthday, we celebrate some of our favourite looks below.

Queen Rania sported Elie Saab back in 2002 at a gala dinner in Versailles, France. The designer first shot to fame after Halle Berry’s Oscar-winning speech that year. We adore this blush dress’ sequin detailing.

This modest crisp white Givenchy Haute Couture gown cements Rania’s signature red-carpet style: timeless elegance. We love her tousled, glossy waves and understated make-up too.

Two queens make a right. Queen Rania beat the cold-weather blues in this stunning powder-blue Salvatore Ferragamo coat while out in The Hague with Queen Maxima of the Netherlands earlier this year. Who says you have to stick to an all-black wardrobe for fall?

Rania loves a pastel pink hue. This blush jumpsuit she wore to a White House outing earlier this year is no exception. Melania Trump, wife of President Donald Trump, clearly got the memo: she donned the same colour and sported Rania’s signature tousled brunette tresses.

We love this traditional Jordanian pattern. Queen Rania wore the outfit for Jordanian Independence Day in May. The pattern peeking out of her all-white gown, now that’s a style stopper like no other.
