Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas are engaged after just two months of dating, according to reports.
A source told People magazine the Jealous singer popped the question to the Bollywood star while the two were in London celebrating her 36th birthday. Jonas reportedly shut down a Tiffany & Co. store so he could purchase the engagement ring.
While neither star has confirmed the reports, Indian film director Ali Abbas Zafar seemingly let the cat out of the bag when he announced the actress would no longer be starring in his upcoming film, Bharat.
“Yes Priyanka Chopra is no more part of @Bharat_TheFilm & and the reason is very very special, she told us in the Nick of time about her decision and we are very happy for her … Team Bharat wishes @priyankachopra loads of love & happiness for life,” he tweeted.

The couple first made headlines in May 2017, when they attended the Met Gala together. However, Chopra denied there was any romance involved, telling Jimmy Kimmel: “We were on the same table. I mean, we know each other, so we were just like, ‘hey, you know what, let’s go together,’ and I was like, ‘ok, let’s go together.’ And it just ended up working out.”
A year later, they were spotted attending a Beauty and the Beast Live performance at the Hollywood Bowl, sparking dating rumours.
Things became more serious in June, when Jonas took the Bollywood star to his cousin’s wedding. Later that month, the couple spent a week together in India, where Jonas met Chopra’s family.
Chopra shared a photo to Instagram Stories of Jonas and another man (potentially her brother, Siddharth) on a beach in Goa, with the caption: “My favourite men”.
The duo jetted to the UK two days before Priyanka’s 36th birthday on July 18, and were snapped enjoying a double date with Nick’s brother, Joe Jonas, and his fiancée, Game of Thrones actress Sophie Turner.
According to Us Weekly, Chopra also introduced Jonas to her good friends, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry, during a secret visit to the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s house in Oxfordshire.
Chopra and Jonas aren’t the only couple to have got engaged after a whirlwind romance. Justin Bieber and Hailey Baldwin surprised everyone with their engagement earlier this month after rekindling their romance in May, while Ariana Grande and Pete Davidson got engaged in June after one month of dating.
