For a small but perfectly formed country, Georgia punches well above its weight in the style stakes.
After all, this is the country that gave us Vetements and Balenciaga designer Demna Gvasalia, as well as celebrity-favourite George Keburia.
It makes sense, then, that Mercedes Benz Tbilisi Fashion Week would be full of delights both on and off the runway.

Strong suit
One thing we noticed plenty of while browsing pictures from Tbilisi? Suiting with a difference.
We particularly love this look from former Emirates Woman cover star Dana Hourani.
The Dubai-based content creator is wearing Tbilisi designer Aleksandre Akhalkatsishvili.
And on the runway at George Keburia, it was all about pastel shades and exaggerated shoulders.
We’ll take one of each—especially that pale pink.
Cult favourite Georgian designer Janashia won us over with this oxblood number. Great sleeves, excellent trousers.
We’d love a better look at that shirt, too. Good stuff.
Modern classic
From trench coats to 40s-style dresses, there were plenty of updated style staples on show in Tbilisi.
How good is this caramel suede look for an example? It’s got that old Hollywood glam we all know and love, but the texture brings it into 2018.
And this street style look is pretty much how we want to dress every day. Jeans and a statement t shirt have never looked better, thanks to that gorgeous coat.
From the red heels to the cat eye glasses, this is such a pulled-together look.
Bright and bold
Who among us can deny the instantly cheering effects of sunshine yellow? It’s a look.
The whole team
As ever, Tbilisi Fashion Week showed that the best looks come in twos—or threes and fours.
The time is right for heart-shaped glasses. We can feel it in our bones. Plus, these two look fantastic altogether. It’s all about the matching moods.
As these super-cool gals well know. Who knew an American Apparel tennis skirt could look so good with a blazer?
