However Penelope Cruz opened up with a rather candid shot this week, sharing an infrequent selfie during her recent visit to Dubai.

The Spanish actress has been in town to help open the new Carpisa store in The Dubai Mall, but it looks like she squeezed in a bit of R&R during the whistlestop visit.
With a beachy braid, straw hat, and sunkissed make-up free skin, the mother of two appeared to slot a bit of beach time into her itinerary.
The shot, shared with her 3.1 million Instragram followers, has already garnered more than 290,000 likes (one of which is ours, because look at those amazing freckles).
Cruz also shared an image taken from the local store opening of the Italian accessory label, with whom she has released a capsule collection.
For the occasion, the star sported a floor-sweeping cream gown, teamed with a Carpisa shoulder bag from her range, created with her designer sister Monica.
Cruz, who is married to fellow Hollywood icon Javier Bardem, revealed her capsule collection was inspired by her lifestyle.
“[Monica and I] are mothers, so we know when you choose the bag in the morning, it’s not going to be only about the way it looks. It’s going to be more about something practical,” she told Gulf News.

Cruz was last in the emirate in 2016, appearing at a bash in the Armani Hotel as her role as the face of Sama by Damas.
