Sun, sea, sand and stripes. When Emilio Pucci decided to reveal it’s exciting collaboration with Orlebar Brown it did so with panache, utilising the emirate’s enviable landscape as a backdrop.Stylish guests were invited by Boutique 1 to the new beach hotspot, the Cove at Jumeirah Beach Hotel, where they were greeted by four handsome men wearing the Emilio Pucci x Orlebar Brown shorts – the perfect way to show off the collection… and get our attention.
The crowd, which included a selection of the region’s tastemakers and influencers, mingled over refreshing cocktails on the venue’s decking area, which offered a summer vibe complete blue accessories, surf boards and the collaboration swimming shorts, which were framed and held up on easels.
Later, a South of France-inspired menu was served (foie gras, beef tartare, smoked salmon and risotto), with the region’s socialites and local talents, including blogger Kat Lebrasse, TV star Layne Redman and Fashion Forward creator Bong Guerrero dining with Orelbar Brown’s designer Adam Brown.
