A culinary masterclass, perfume workshop, dining deals and more…
There are so many things to be excited about this weekend: such as the fact the end of summer (and the soaring temperatures that come with it) is almost in sight. Here are six great ways to celebrate.
Thursday August 9
Make the most of this red-hot dining deal
This pan-Asian dining rooftop restaurant, complete with panoramic views of the Arabian Gulf, has a sizzling summer deal. Throughout August the pan-Asian restaurant will offer you a discount on your food bill for the same temperature as it is outside. Like, if it’s 45 degrees outside, you’ll get 45 per cent slashed off your bill. Just show your server the temperature on Google Weather when you pay. There could be worse ways to celebrate the soaring temperatures in our humble opinion…
Pure Sky Lounge, Hilton Dubai The Walk, JBR, daily 6pm onwards, until August 31. Tel: (04) 374 7888. hilton.com
Unwind in a traditional drawing room
Fancy avoiding the crowds for a nightcap in a more refined setting? Enter The Ritz-Carlton’s newly refurbished Library Bar. Inspired by a traditional English drawing room, complete with leather seats to recline on and plenty of cozy corners, you’re in safe hands. The revamped menu feature classic ‘bar bites’ including squid tempura, short rib tacos and an artisan cheese selection, as well as plenty of interesting cocktails.
