To celebrate Eid Al Adha, The Beach at JBR is putting on four nights of spectacular fireworks plus some free family-friendly entertainment. Over the long weekend, there’ll be marching bands and street performers as well as a pop-up kids’ play area, so we reckon have dinner along the seafront and stroll down the promenade before the festivities kick off.

Real Pilates, which has two studios in Dubai, says it aims to “de-stress and restore” its customers… and that sounds like something we’re often in need of. The workout spot is currently offering an introductory deal to new clients, giving them five classes during 14 days for Dhs295 (and a single session would usually cost Dhs110).
