OK, it’s still all speculation at this point but still we’re in shock at the latest Hollywood rumours that insist British heartthrob Orlando Bloom is dating former Disney star Selena Gomez, who is 16 years his junior!
The two actors set off the rumour mill after arriving and leaving together from Chelsea Handler’s performance at The Forum in Los Angeles. And it didn’t look like Orlando was chaperoning for the young star, leaving many to ask whether their new closeness could be sweet revenge on their exes Miranda Kerr and Justin Bieber who were once pictured looking cosy together back in 2012 after a Victoria’s Secret gig.
The news may come as a devastating shock to Justin who was only just recently linked to his ex, who he dated back in 2011 for just over two years. In fact his new single, Hard 2 Face Reality, is said to be an apology to his former long-suffering girlfriend. One lyric reads: “Now that you’re standing in front of me, it hurts me to know that I lied, trying to protect your feelings. You’ve been in between the lines, hope your heart is still in healing.”
Orlando and Miranda have been less vocal in their split, which appears to be amicable, in spite of that awkward moment where they bumped in to each at the Vanity Fair party. The couple who married in 2010 announced their separation last year.
Since the split Miranda has admitted she has started dating again, while Orlando has been linked to a string of ladies including French beauty Nora Arnezeder.
Miranda said in a recent interview: “I’m dating. I’m loving it. Two happy parents are better than two unhappy parents. This is my time to explore and have some fun. I’m not looking to fall in love again quickly.”
Selena on the other hand appears to be going for a life and image overhaul. Dithcing her child star image she has added raunchy rotines to her music tours, has hired Katy Perry’s manager, and recently deleted her followers on Instagram including former bestie Taylor Swift as well as Kendall and Kylie Jenner.
One source said: “Selena is convinced something has gone on between Justin and Kylie…At Coachella they [Justin and Selena] looked to be back on track. Selena was hanging out with Kylie too and they were behaving like best friends…Then she heard stuff about Justin and Kylie and felt totally betrayed. She went berserk and called it all off again.” Perhaps Orlando is her rebound, either way the unlikely hook up has got everyone talking.
