It’s Monday and there’s no better day to get your paws pampered and preened. This week, we put nail art at The Doll House to the test.

THE POLISH:

Inspired by silver trimmed nails at Anthony Vaccarello A/W13 show, we chose a midnight blue in Ibiza by Zoya and a pewter tone called Pull Me Close by China Glaze.

THE TREATMENTS:

Known for their excellent nail art, it was a no-brainer to ask the talented nail technicians to work some creative wonders on our nails.

First up, the classic manicure. Our nails were cut and filed with perfect precision by technician Tina, then with her steady hand she coated on the bottom layer of silver polish followed by two coats of the navy blue in a half moon shape.

BEST FOR:

Pre-evening out pampering. The loud music, bright cupboards and plush sofas felt like we were getting ready in our bestfriend’s bedroom rather than a salon.  If you’re after a serene spa experience then The Doll House might not be for you.

HOW LONG DID IT LAST:

It lasted long enough for our evening out that night, but by day two it chipped. However, the perfectly shaped nails remained.

PRICE:

Dhs150 for classic manicure with nail art
