Last week we reported that a member of the Dubai Royal family was flying for Emirates airline, and now we can reveal that a member of the airline’s cabin crew is the current ruling Miss Scotland.

Linzi McLelland, 24, won the competition earlier this summer, but has continued her work for the airline. Most recently, the beauty queen celebrated the inaugural flight between Dubai and Edinburgh in a short video, explaining Scottish slang to her Emirates colleagues.
The first Emirates Airline flight between Dubai and Edinburgh took place on Monday October 1, with a schedule of one flight per day for the rest of the year.
Linzi regularly posts on her Instagram channel about both life working for Emirates airline, and her new role as Miss Scotland.
She will represent the northern British nation at the Miss World grand final held in China later this year.
