Sounds like these two have more in common than a great hairdresser.
Talk about a power friendship. Amal Clooney and Meghan Markle, the new Duchess of Sussex, have got to be two of the most talked-about women in the world right now, and it looks like they’ve struck up a friendship.
Clooney attended Markle’s May 19 wedding to Britain’s Prince Harry with her husband, George, and we had heard before that they go to the same hairdresser in London, but it’s never been clear how well they know each other.

According to a report by US magazine People, though, they’re becoming quite close.
“Meghan and Amal have known each other for a while [and share] many interests,” the site quotes the anonymous insider.
“Amal has been helping Meghan settle into London life… It was a very natural friendship from day one.”
Details, clearly, are still pretty thin on the ground, but we have to say we can see them hanging out. They’re both smart, stylish women thrust further into the spotlight by their very high-profile marriages. Add their mutual interest in social causes and philanthropy into the mix, and you’ve got a fair amount to chat about over lunch.
Clooney’s sunny yellow Stella McCartney get up was one of our favourites from the royal wedding — on the guests, at least.
Markle’s Claire Waight Keller-designed Givenchy wedding gown (complete with a delicately embroidered five-metre veil) was the real focus of the day, and rightly so.
We’re loving this news. Two of our fantasy dinner party guests are friends in their own right? It’s great stuff.
Now, if you’ll excuse us, we’re off to plan a menu for that event.
