The star donned a hijab and halal makeup while at Fashion Week.

She’s previously spoken of the “calmness” she’s felt since relocating to Dubai.

And now Lindsay Lohan has further embraced the culture of her adopted home in the Middle East, after showing up to support regional designers at London Modest Fashion Week.

The Mean Girls star was a guest of honour at the two-day event, which launched for the first time in the British capital just last year.

The 31-year-old sat front row at LMFW’s opening ceremony, according to fellow showgoers, wearing a silky black hijab.

The actress was also snapped mingling with Saudi designer Samah Khashoggi, who presented her brand Samah Abayas’ latest collection on Saturday.

Lohan also attended Turkish designer Zeynep Kartal’s Autumn/Winter 2018 show, wearing a black leather dress teamed with a baseball cap with an attached scarf.

The star later revealed she was wearing a Muslim-friendy beauty look, after dropping by a stall for vegan and halal cosmetic company Hawa.

“Oh my days! As if Lindsay Lohan came over to say hello to Team Hawa!” the brand posted on Instagram, alongside a shot of Lohan.

“She was so lovely and was saying how she’s into halal cosmetics and what she’s actually wearing on her face today was all halal!”

The actress is actually set to launch her own beauty line later this year, so could this indicate her range will also be Muslim-friendly? We’ll keep our ears to the ground.

Lohan also has plans to create her own island off Dubai’s coast, as well as currently working with a Dubai-based stylist to design her own clothing line.

These are just the latest committments in the actress’ already-busy 2018 calendar, with Lohan set to shoot an all-female film project in Saudi Arabia from September.

Lohan first revealed her involvement with the film with a tweet in December, before revealing more about her character on The Wendy Williams Show.

“She starts to understand the culture and how the women there are. Fencing is a big thing there, so there are a lot of fencing courses and horse-back riding… the women take her in to [help her] understand why they cover and why they do these things,” the actress told the US talk show host.

The actress also opened up about her life in the city to Williams, revealing Dubai has offered her a more peaceful (and paparazzi-free) existence.

“I didn’t really know how to have a private life, because I was so young,” she said of her time in Los Angeles. “I really enjoy my serenity in Dubai… you can go out and have fun, but it’s a different kind of fun that you have.”

In December, Lohan also told Entertainment Tonight that in the city “I can actually focus on what I want to do in life”.

“I don’t always have to be scrutinised every second. I can have a private life and have a public life, but when I choose to. And I think that’s really important.”
