Talk about a family that knows how to capitalise on their fame. The Kardashian-Jenners have done it once again with both Kim Kardashian and Kylie Jenner launching their own websites and apps.
Both eager to make the most of their assets, Kylie Jenner and Kim Kardashian both launched their own websites during New York Fashion Week, and while we initially feared the launches would cause sibling rivalry we couldn’t have been more wrong as it transpires the sisters have launched completely different projects.
While 18-year-old Kylie has provided a platform whereby her fans can view her beauty vlogs and learn from tutorials, Kim, on the other hand, has taken a much more personal route with a site that concentrates on her, offering exclusive behind the scenes as well as beauty and fashion tutorials with her expert team.
Offering an interactive element Kim’s site, which is also available as an app, features live streaming whereby fans can interview the reality star with live Q&A sessions.
Kim’s website is more personal than we expected. Aside from the expected welcome video the 34-year-old businesswoman also shares some very personal images, many of which are too racy for us to publish in the Middle East.
While Kylie Jenner is notorious for her raunchy images, her website is less raunchy. While similar in design to her older sister’s site, the feel is much younger with fun images and a trendy font. After much demand, the 18 year old offers fans fashion and beauty tutorials, under the Look section, revealing how to get her iconic looks. Meanwhile, the model also gets personal in the Lyfe section offering pictorial dairies as well as tackling rumours and body shaming – in one post she talks about how she hasn’t had breast argumentation.
Both Kim and Kylie’s sites are available in an app, which is free to download and then US$2.99 each month.
It seems there is no escaping the Kardashian Jenners, yet love them or loathe them, you have to admire their tenacity.
