American entertainment channel E! announced a three-part series hosted by Kuwaiti influencer Dana Al-Tuwarish, focussed on the region’s most inspiring self-made women. The one-off series, called Generation M.E. is set to debut on December 23 on OSN at 9PM (KSA).

Host Dana Al-Tuwarish is a social media personality and entrepreneur with a staggering 2 million followers on Instagram – a perfect fit for the show, as her internet fame helped her secure a number of lucrative business deals. She took to Instagram to share a teaser of the new series.

The show is expected to delve into what it takes to be a businesswoman in the Middle East, and how each of these women were able to excel in their respective fields and accomplish great success. The series will introduce nine of the region’s self-made women, from the fashion and entertainment industries, to beauty, culinary arts and sports.
The line up so far includes Will Smith’s favourite Saudi designer Arwa Al Banawi, Lebanese beauty mogul Joelle Mardinian, Egyptian marathon runner and mountaineer Manal Rostom,Lebanese chef Tara Khatter, and Algerian car enthusiast and founder of UAE’s first women-only supercar club Hanan Mazouzi.
