Kim Kardashian attended the opening of the first exhibition dedicated to Manfred Thierry Mugler at the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts.

The archival gold gown featured sheer draped fabric and a golden corset from “Les méduses” collection FW 99 that the mother-of-three paired with Yeezy perspex heels.

Thierry Mugler: Couturissime exhibit features some 150 outfits – most restored and presented for the first time – produced between 1977 and 2014, in addition to accessories, theatre costumes, videos, film clips, videos, archives and unpublished sketches.

Clearly such occasion deserved not one, but two outfits so once Kim arrived at the venue she did a full costume change (hair and makeup included) and wore a white strapless structured dress from “Longchamps” collection SS 1994.

The exhibit also presents a hundred rare prints by the greatest fashion photographers and artists, including Lillian Bassman, Guy Bourdin, Jean-Paul Goude and the late Karl Lagerfeld,
The exhibition also features a rotation of 16 of the costumes designed by Mugler for La Tragédie de Macbeth, shown here for the first time since the 1985 Comédie-Française production at the Festival d’Avignon.

Retrospective showcases the singular imagination of the French designer that revolutionized fashion and haute couture and will be open to the public March 2 – September 8 2019.
